BMW i8

The BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid sports car developed by BMW. The i8 is part of BMW’s electric fleet “Project i” being marketed as a new sub-brand, BMW i. The 2015 model year BMW i8 has a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers an all-electric range of under the New European Driving Cycle. Under the United States Environmental Protection Agency cycle, the range in EV mode is with a small amount of gasoline consumption. Its design is heavily influenced by the BMW M1 Homage concept car, which in turn pays homage to BMW’s last production mid-engined sports car prior to the i8: the BMW M1.

Fluctuat nec mergitur

“Fluctuat nec mergitur” is the motto of Paris, France, translated into French as “Il est battu par les flots, mais ne sombre pas”: “She is tossed by the waves but does not sink”. This motto is present in the city coat of arms depicting a ship floating on a rough sea. Both motto and city arms have their origins in the river Seine boatsman’s corporation; this powerful guild ruled the city’s trade and commerce as early as the Roman era.

Becky Lynch

Rebecca Quin (born 30 January 1987) is an Irish professional wrestler and actress currently signed to WWE, where she performs on the SmackDown brand brand under the ring name Becky Lynch. She began training as a professional wrestler under Fergal Devitt and Paul Tracey in June 2002, making her debut five months later. Initially working in Ireland and occasionally teaming with her brother, she soon expanded her career into the rest of Europe on the independent circuit as Rebecca Knox, wrestling regularly for the France-based Queens of Chaos promotion, where she won the World Queens of Chaos Championship in 2006. She also wrestled for England’s One Pro Wrestling and Germany’s German Stampede Wrestling.
